Game Bundle Report - October 2026
Game Bundle Report - October 2026
This report analyzes 41 bundles released this month across major stores, ranking them by value, game quality, and overall score using the GBG formula.
Performance by Store
Humble Bundle led the pack again with 21 bundles, up from 19 in September, while Fanatical slowed down to 11 - down from 14. Green Man Gaming held steady at 4 bundles and Indiegala stayed at 2. Digiphile returned with 2 bundles after skipping September, and one more bundle came from a store outside the usual names - a charity bundle from PlanetPlay.

Game quality was fairly flat this month. The two smallest groups sit on top: other stores at 85.5 and Digiphile at 84.4, but with 1 and 2 bundles I wouldn't read much into it. Among the regulars, Green Man Gaming leads at 80.8, down from September's 83.6. Fanatical barely moved at 80.2 (from 80.4), Humble slipped from 80.7 to 79.3, and Indiegala stays at the bottom with 69.1.
Value ratio slipped again, from 3.93x to 3.75x. The big surprise is Indiegala, which went from the worst value in September (2.05x) to the best at 4.63x. Digiphile follows at 4.39x and Humble ticked up from 3.93x to 3.98x. Fanatical dropped from 4.55x to 3.65x, and Green Man Gaming is last again at 2.28x, down from 2.69x.

If we look at the GBG score, which is calculated based on value ratio and game quality, Digiphile comes first with 6.7 from just two bundles. Among the big stores, Humble leads with 5.8 (down from 5.9) and Fanatical follows with 5.6, a drop from 5.9. Green Man Gaming fell from 4.9 to 4.1. Indiegala improved from 2.6 to 3.7, but even the best value ratio of any store can't make up for the lowest game quality.
Worst Bundles
Here are the lowest rated bundles this month.
Power Halt Bundle - Indiegala's 9 games for $3.49 scored just 1.3. Every game in the bundle has sold for $0.49 at some point this year, so all together they're worth about $4.41, and none of them has more than 110 reviews.
Capcom Classics Bundle - the Resident Evil and Dino Crisis classics are good games, but the whole bundle gets you 6 games worth about $22.55 at their lowest prices of the year, and the top tier costs $20. On top of that, you can buy the same bundle directly on Steam for a bit less.
Destructive Creations Bundle - Green Man Gaming asks $10 for 7 games that add up to $16.30 at their year-low prices. There are some decent games in there, but they've all been available for cheap individually.
Best Bundles
Here are the top rated bundles released in October.
Serenity Forge Emotional Impact Bundle - 16 games for $12 on Humble. At their lowest prices of the year they're worth around $72, and the lineup is strong: LISA: The Painful and Smile For Me are rated 95% and 96% positive, and Return to Ash has a 99% rating, though from fewer reviews. I've already put this one through a full review and scored it 7.2, slightly less than the formula's 7.4, but it's still a great deal.
Build Your Own All Stars Bundle - Fanatical's pick and mix bundle at $1.20 a game, with a 5 game minimum. Chernobylite Premium Edition, Redout 2, Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition, POSTAL: Brain Damaged and POSTAL 4 would be about $31 of games for $6, and there are also great picks like Frog Detective 3 and This War of Mine.
CoppaFeel! Charity Bundle - Fanatical's charity bundle gets you 10 games for $5.99, worth about $33 at their year-low prices. It's full of co-op favorites like Overcooked, PlateUp! and KeyWe, plus Haste, which is the most expensive game in the bundle. It ended on October 31.
Special Mentions
Two shoutouts this month, and just like in September, they both go to the same bundle.
Community Favorite: Humble Choice October 2026 - GBG community rated this one 4.9/5 (from 7 ratings so far), the highest of any bundle this month.
Editor's Pick: Humble Choice October 2026 - I gave this one a full personal review and rated it 8.5/10, a lot higher than its GBG formula score of 7.0.
Conclusion
October saw a few more bundle releases than September (41 vs 39), but the average GBG score slipped slightly from 5.6 to 5.5. Digiphile's return was the best news of the month: just 2 bundles, but they brought the highest GBG score of any store at 6.7 and some of the best game quality at 84.4. Humble released more than half of all bundles (21 out of 41), kept the top spot among the big stores with 5.8, and took both special mentions. Fanatical had a quieter month but still placed two bundles in the top 3. Indiegala finally has a good value ratio, but with the lowest game quality it still ended up near the bottom, and Green Man Gaming remains the weakest on value.
